how much money are you willing to spend

The very first thing you need to establish is an overall cost that you are willing to spend on your wedding.   You should make every effort to stay within this cost when you are doing your official budget as you do not want to spend years after your wedding repaying debts.   We will discuss the Official Wedding Budget further in this series.  Placing an overall cost on your event will do the following for you:

• It will help you to determine the type of wedding you would like to have: Destination or Domestic | Local.

• Assist in deciding on the number of guests to invite.

• Your event aesthetics - theme colors, decor etc.

• Your event menu etc.

• But most of all, it will guide your expenses.
