Whether it’s a destination or a domestic wedding; careful thought and consideration has to take place or it can result in unwanted expenses. I am going to take you step by step through this process until you are walking down the aisle.
So you are engaged and this is an exciting time for you both. You have taken that step to solidify your love and commitment to each other. You now want to share this moment with your families and close friends hence your WEDDING DAY!
Your wedding day should be a joyous occasion that you share with your loved ones, to have them witness you both professing your love for each other. It should not be a battlefield.
The day should be free from any drama and have a smooth flow to all aspect of your event. It should not be one that has no sense of direction.
Make sure you cover all areas so there are no surprises on that day.
We know that the ladies always takes charge when it comes to planning the wedding activities, but please remember to include your fiancé as the day is not just about you alone. We as ladies often make this grave mistake of now including our other halves, but we expect them to foot the budget no questions asked because it’s all about me and not us. BIG MISTAKE! Always ensure that the other party is kept abreast of everything. The flow of communication will stem out the possibilities of any disagreements along the way. Remember, the journey includes the both of you and you need to enjoy it together. This will also help you to bond even more and prepare you for the challenging times they do arise.
